Once you have signed up with us we make sure that we arrange for the system to be installed at a suitable time for you as well as work with you to make sure that we don't get in the way of the running of your business.
At the design stage we work on the best way to install the system to optimise performance.
Scaffolding or alternative access to the roof needs to be arranged as well as working out the best way to transport the equipment to site and an EPC is arranged. For ground mounted installations we need to ensure that any ground penetration by the frame or trenching avoids all services.
We can provide solutions for all types of roof, including non-penetrative systems on flat rooves and low ballast systems. For ground mount systems we also have a variety of installation methods that we have used in the past.
Step 01 - Design
Step 02 - Design stage
Step 03 - Installation
Step 04 - Commission
Our installation team will turn up and complete the installation, connecting it to the grid and making sure that its optimised to take into account any potential shading over part of the system.
Once installed one of our operatives will run through how to operate and maintain the system and the site will be left clean and clear of any debris.
Solar in 4 easy steps
Once installed the system is commissioned and we send you all of the relevant documentation to register for the FiT. If the system is above 50kWp we will help your paperwork and OFGEM accreditation.
An installers pack is sent out to you with all of the information on your system, and if applicable, login details for your online monitoring system are sent out.
If you are interested in finding out more about the benefits of Solar panels, the first step is to get in touch and give us your requirements. We can either do a desktop study or a site visit to give you an approximate idea of costs (our years of experience means that we have dealt with most types of roof and ground mount installations as well as keeping a keen eye on prices and new technologies). After calculating the approximate output and your estimated consumption of the systems output we can also work out the the return that you would expect to earn in year 1 and for the next 20 years.
To firm up any price we would need to do a site survey to assess the roof, cable run, likely cost of scaffolding and all other factors that will affect our costs. This is also the time to tell us about any special requirements that you have, such as black panels, higher efficiency panels, non-penetrative flat roof mounting systems etc.
Once this has been done we will give you a price or a few different options as well as predicted returns over 20-years, CO2 savings, payback period and anything else you need to know.
